Originally released in 1983, Soft Cell’s Dave Ball’s solo debut Strict Tempo features guest vocalists among which Gavin Friday and Genesis P.Orridge (Throbbing Gristle). The album was produced by Flood. A CD re-issue was released in 2007. Gavin sings the song “In Strict Tempo”.

The single was recorded as part of a 70th Birthday Limited Edition EP tribute series to the Suicide vocalist Alan Vega. The download comes in two formats: mp3 and high quality lossless FLAC file. It includes the single’s artwork.

The song will be released early 2009 on Blast First Petite. Artists taking part in the tribute are Bruce Springsteen, Grinderman (Nick Cave), Primal Scream and Peaches among others.
