Flood

Flood (real name Mark Ellis) is a Grammy Award-winning British post punk and alternative rock record producer and audio engineer.

He has worked with many acts, including U2, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Sigur Rós, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers, and collaborated with Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Steve Lillywhite, and Alan Moulder, with whom he co-founded the Assault & Battery studio complex.

Flood first worked with Gavin Friday in his Virgin Prunes days. He mixed and engineerd the album “The Moon Looked Down and Laughed”, produced by Dave Ball whose solo album “In Strict Tempo” Flood produced. In 1992 he worked on Gavin’s 2nd solo album “Adam ‘n’ Eve”.
